Better than a Birthday: My Two-Year Anniversary in New York!

Today I mark two years since I packed one black and yellow suitcase and boarded a plane with a one-way ticket to New York. Remarkably, I somehow have survived! And with a job, apartment, friends, and a multitude of adventures, I feel like things are going pretty well. To celebrate, I made a playlist of music from bands I’ve seen play during my second year in New York (August 15, 2010-August 15, 2011). Try it out below and scroll down to see my top five favorite photos from my second year. If you want to see all my photos from my second year in NYC, click here. Or why not view them as a slideshow while you listen?
